Interactive Projection Walls Design for the Visualization of the Automotive Green Manufacturing Process
摘要
Interactive projection wall technology integrates projection displays with interactive sensors to capture user movements and generate real-time feedback, delivering immersive interactive experiences. In recent years, as an innovative form of human-computer interaction, it has garnered significant attention and has been widely applied in museums, automotive exhibitions, advertising, and educational exhibition design. This study focuses on the application innovation of interactive projection wall technology in automotive industrial exhibitions. Based on the audience segmentation theory, a user persona model was constructed to categorize visitors into three target groups: learning-oriented, research-oriented, and entertainment-oriented. Through in-depth needs analysis, differentiated interaction modes—single-user explanatory mode and multi-user entertainment mode—were refined. The research employed the Unity engine to develop interactive nodes, innovatively visualizing automotive production processes and green manufacturing techniques through dynamic graphics. A user evaluation of the display system revealed significant differences in environmental and manufacturing knowledge retention among the three user groups (p < 0.05) via memory retention tests. Furthermore, the AttrakDiff scale validated that the interactive projection system achieved notable improvements in both the Hedonic Quality and Attractiveness dimensions compared to conventional video displays. Empirical results demonstrate that this interactive system not only constructs immersive brand cognition scenarios but also effectively disseminates green manufacturing concepts through gamified learning mechanisms, providing a reusable technical framework for the exhibition design field.
