With the growing interest in plant cultivation, it has evolved into a lifestyle beyond mere entertainment. However, beginners often face challenges due to improper care methods. This research introduces Leaf Talk, an interactive plant care app that conveys plant needs through a virtual IP character, integrating artificial intelligence and affective computing. The app features real-time plant health monitoring, plant identification through image recognition, a growth calendar, and personalized settings to enhance user engagement. By translating environmental conditions (humidity, temperature, light) into anthropomorphic expressions, the virtual IP character enables users to interact emotionally with their plants via a natural user interface (NUI) using voice and touch. User testing revealed that 85% of participants found the system beneficial, demonstrating its effectiveness in improving plant care awareness and fostering a new dimension of plant-human interaction.

摘要
