Foot and Ankle Soft Tissue Reconstruction
摘要
Lower extremity reconstruction have been a challenge for plastic surgeons. Maintaining a functional, durable, and pliable coverage is not always possible due to lack of soft tissue reserves in the distal third of the lower extremity. The ultimate aim of reconstructing the ankle and foot defects is to provide gait with fine aesthetic appearance. This chapter presents a broad perspective on foot and ankle soft tissue reconstruction, mainly based on free flap coverage.
