What will attract the best candidates and what will convince them to stay in the organization? It seems the answer is inclusion: creating a work environment that will satisfy the employees’ need for belongingness and uniqueness. Inclusion is crucial in the light of the increasing diversity of employees, because members of heterogeneous teams tend to be more likely to cooperate successfully when they are able to fully express their identities. This paper examines the ways in which organizations attempt to change their corporate image through careful curation of the content on their websites, especially in sections devoted to corporate social responsibility and career. Drawing on critical discourse analysis the study investigates how organizations operating in Poland define diversity and inclusion on their websites, what drivers of diversity they emphasize, and what dimensions of diversity are acknowledged. Websites of 20 companies that have appeared in Poland’s Best Employers 2022 Ranking were selected for the analysis. The findings address the call to explore the topic of diversity and inclusion from local perspectives and to investigate the under-researched area of corporate discourse on diversity and inclusion in Poland.
