This study aims to present and analyze the sustainability initiatives carried out by the Green Office at the University of Passo Fundo (UPF) in 2024. Using a participatory action research approach, the study documents the implementation process of the Green Office, which involved organizing workshops, seminars, and collaborative projects focused on waste management, energy efficiency, and sustainable lifestyles. Data were collected through participant observation, interviews, and analysis of project outcomes. The results demonstrate that the Green Office effectively fostered engagement among students and staff, increased sustainability awareness, and facilitated climate change communication both within the university and the local community. The study highlights practical solutions and collaborative dynamics that contributed to embedding a culture of sustainability in the academic environment. These findings provide valuable insights and lessons learned that can support replication and scaling of similar sustainability initiatives in higher education institutions, thereby contributing to broader societal goals of sustainable development.

摘要
