‘As Humanity’s Future Is at Stake, Climate Inaction Is Arguably the Most Concerning Betrayal of the Social Contract Between the State and Its People’. Interview with Filippo P. Fantozzi
摘要
The interview with Filippo Fantozzi touches many fundamental issues of our time and, through the lens of climate change (and the fight against its effects), analyses some of the most profound questions facing contemporary society, such as the relationship between the constitution and the fundamental foundations of life on earth, or the intersection between the lack of (political) representation of climate issues and the risks stemming from inaction and regression. In this interview, Filippo Fantozzi reminds us how the challenges posed by climate change, and the opportunities provided by climate change litigation, can offer a valuable lens through which understand the relationship between the fundamental elements of liberal democracy in Europe and the dissensus surrounding them.
