This chapter explores how workplace bullying disproportionately impacts individuals from diverse and vulnerable populations, such as people who are racialized and minoritized for their gender, sexuality, and abilities. The discussion examines how workplace culture, systemic biases, and societal inequities make certain groups more vulnerable to bullying and how this exacerbates workplace violence. A structural overview of marginality will be proposed through the frame of socioeconomic status, as well as social determinants of health, as key ways in which populations become affected. Strategies and best practices will be shared for how organizations can overcome these systemic injustices.
