The central aim of this chapter is to introduce the scale of first-generation Herz-type Hardy spaces HAp,q in the setting of unbounded Ahlfors regular sets. Significantly, we develop an atomic and molecular theory for this scale of spaces, which plays a fundamental role in the treatments of singular integral operators on these spaces.
