The integration of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) principles into architectural design is transforming how users engage with public built environments. This study explores Human-Building Interaction (HBI) as a multidisciplinary approach that enhances user experience, accessibility, and functionality in urban spaces. By incorporating User-Centred Design (UCD) and User Experience (UX) methodologies, the research examines how spatial configurations influence human interactions, well-being, and social dynamics. The study employs AI-driven analysis, using ChatGPT to assess two playgrounds through the perspectives of diverse user personas. Findings highlight the limitations of conventional planning methods that prioritize aesthetics and economic efficiency over inclusivity and usability. The results emphasize the need for adaptable, technology-integrated public spaces that foster intergenerational engagement and community identity. This research contributes to the discourse on intelligent built environments, advocating for AI-assisted planning tools to enhance participatory design and improve real-world applications of HCI in architecture.
