Renewable Connect: Empowering Users to Discover and Support Renewable Energy Projects Online

Renewable energy projects are proliferating all over Bangladesh as a result of the country’s urgent demand for sustainable energy alternatives. In order to promote a collaborative effort towards a more environmentally friendly and energy-efficient future, this article proposes a web application that is intended to make it easier to find and support these activities. The suggested platform has an intuitive user interface designed specifically for Bangladesh’s distinct socioeconomic environment. By utilizing machine learning techniques and geospatial data, the program provides users with a user-friendly means of investigating and locating renewable energy projects within their local area. Users can learn more about each initiative’s overall sustainability, community effect, and technology components by perusing through in-depth project biographies. In addition, the website functions as a platform for crowd sourcing, enabling people and institutions to provide money to initiatives that share their interests and principles. This all-inclusive strategy encourages a sense of ownership and collective responsibility by enabling individuals to actively engage in the nation’s transition to renewable energy. With a social networking component, the platform promotes cooperation and knowledge exchange amongst parties. By participating in conversations, exchanging success stories, and benefiting from one another’s experiences, users may foster a thriving online community dedicated to promoting sustainable energy practices. Special consideration is paid to regional content, language choices, and internet connectivity issues that are common in Bangladesh in order to guarantee the application’s accessibility. The interface is inclusive and broadly adaptable since it is made to accommodate users with different degrees of technical skill. Our goal is to increase the use of renewable energy in Bangladesh by encouraging community involvement, offering financial assistance, and facilitating information exchange through the creation and execution of this online application. The technological architecture, user experience design, and initial results of using the platform in real-world settings are covered in the paper.
