Concept-Knowledge Theory as a Means to Evaluate Uncertainties in Large Complex Projects
摘要
This article explores the application of a novel approach to identify, track, and manage uncertainties that affect the performance of large complex projects. The approach uses Concept-KnowledgeConcept-knowledge theory Design Theory and its visual mapping formats as a means to elicit project uncertainties in order to build mitigation plans. An ongoing project is testing this as a methodology to extend risk management into uncertainty management. This article explains the methods using a historical case study of a successful megaprojectMegaprojects: Heathrow Terminal 5.
