Infrastructure of Law Enforcement, Trade and Procurement, and Environmental Protection Activities in the Digital Economy: A Comparative Legal Study

This research examines the formation and development of infrastructure in the digital economy, using case studies from law enforcement, trade and procurement, environmental protection, and the evolution of digital traceology. The research analyzes the subject and methodology of digital traceology. It also examines the challenges of digitally identifying citizens when accessing public and private services, ensuring the security of personal data, and protecting individuals from cyber fraud. The research proposes creating a specific set of operational and investigative measures to address digital crime. The authors highlight the importance of tackling the issue of replacing reliable evidence in criminal cases with false testimony from participants influenced by digital realities. The research substantiates the necessity of aligning the conceptual framework of Russian consumer and competition protection legislation. The research explores the debatable correlation between the carbon economy and the green economy. It reveals the Russian national approach to modernizing environmental infrastructure in a digital society. The research uses materials and data on developing the digital infrastructure of the USA, the EU, and China. It formulates conclusions about the specifics and prospects for developing law enforcement, trade, procurement, and environmental protection infrastructure in the digital economy of the Russian Federation.
