摘要
The research aims to develop an enhanced approach to managing sustainable tourism in Uzbekistan through the digital and environmental advancement of transport and logistics infrastructure. To this end, it includes a comprehensive review of tourism activities, transport logistics, and assessments of the environmental impact of transport services in tourism over the past 15 years. The authors developed an infrastructural model of sustainable tourism in Uzbekistan, systemically revealing the socio-economic and ecological-technological impact of transport and logistics infrastructure on the tourism economy. The model highlights the most promising digital and green innovations in sustainable tourism and specifies the tools for managing sustainable tourism development in Uzbekistan. The main conclusion emphasizes that the sustainable development of tourism in Uzbekistan requires maintaining the trend of reducing the cost of transport and logistics services in the tourism sector, combined with further digitalization and environmental improvements. The proposals for improving sustainable tourism management through digital and ecological development of transport and logistics infrastructure support integrated planning by tourism companies and a sustainable tourism policy. The practical recommendations help balance the interests of local communities and tourism through adaptive visitor management and the promotion of responsible consumption of tourism services by mitigating their environmental impacts in Uzbekistan.
