Waste reduction through recycling is one of the points in sustainable Development Goals (SDG). Spent Coffee Grounds (SCG) is one of Indonesia's potentials as a producer and consumer country for coffee commodities and their derivative industries. Recycling SCG will have benefits in waste reduction and align with SDG. On the other hand, the number of Micro, Medium, and Small Enterprises (MSMEs) is a dominant type of enterprise in Indonesia. For developing MSMEs, various innovations are needed, especially in products. Coasters is a product that MSMEs often sell. This experimental research aims to develop a coaster design using SCG as a basic material and analyze its sustainable principles. The result is SCG mixed with a biodegradable hardener material with a ratio of 40:60% by weight that can be processed into coaster products with casting techniques. Coasters and molds are designed using computer-aided design (CAD) and produced using a 3D Printer. However, the results still require further development so that the quality of the coaster can be marketable.

摘要
