This paper presents a review of some literature on the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) combined with Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), utilized in areas related to projects. QFD and AHP methods are two tools used to enhance product design quality. Some researchers have explored incorporating these two design techniques into product design and development, focusing on translating consumers’ desires into product design. The literature is collected through searching the Scopus web system, where quality research is collected. To manage the growing research trend, articles reviewed are limited to those published in the last 10 years, from 2014 to 2023. It’s found that the combined method suits decision making as per project needs, with some literature using it for design selection, optimization, investment selection, etc. An in-depth analysis on the benefits and drawbacks of the integration method in previous research has been carried out in this paper. Suggestions for the development of the integration method are provided based on the analysis. This paper aims to serve as a reference for researchers looking to implement the QFD-AHP integration method in areas related to projects.
