The real estate industry’s development has accompanied an increase in paint market demand. To meet this demand, manufacturing companies need to make improvements within their organizations. With the intensifying application of new renewable energy (NRE) in Indonesia such as solar energy or photovoltaics (PV), companies need to take an approach with Total Quality Management (TQM) and Green Manufacturing (GM) to ensure that the benefits from its application can be obtained. This research uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach to study the connection between TQM, GM, PV, and techno-economics analysis as a measure of the success of the manufacturing gain benefit from improvements that have been done. The literature’s research source is scopus.com, which uses keywords, extracts the data, and analyses the results to solve the research question. The results from previous research studies indicate a gap in terms of TQM, GM, PV, and techno-economics; none of the earlier studies made a connection among the 4 of them. In conclusion, the 35 core papers can answer the question from the research objectives namely whether the implementation of solar energy or PV can help the user to gain benefit from its implementation.
