Policy, Regulation and International Collaboration to Foster Sustainable Agriculture
摘要
Food crisis is a serious public health concern in people’s lives especially in India where national credibility and promoting sustainable development depends on “Zero Hunger.” Food security is the main issue of this research study with public health at the center, regards the interconnectedness of food security with nutrition, one, holistic wellness, and poverty alleviation. It is the kind of qualitative methodology without points and outputs heads from long before the scope of this project. The results offered in this study will illustrate the areas food security affects health care as well as social progress. Basic access to good nourishing food is indispensable in sustaining good health, a good immune system, and physical and mental fitness. Lack of this makes it easy for food insecurity. It induces a variety of infectious, chronic diseases, and poor health status. Food is scant in poor communities, drastically impacting health disparities and being a huge barrier in the socio-economic development of the poor. Equally fatal are mental health issues engendered by the food insecurity. Crippling them even more due to inadequate access to affordable and nutritious food, there is deterioration in mental health status and escalation of stress, anxiety, and depression. The last-mentioned is closely related to a multi-lateral approach regarding food insecurity-nutrition intervention, social protection programs, and policy reform.
