In today’s fast-growing digital market, facing the rapid transformation of the economy, user-centered service design (UCSD) has become an important method to improve the customer experience and satisfaction of online shopping. This study explores the principles and applications of UCSD in e-commerce platforms, focusing on how personalized services, intuitive interface design, and seamless user interaction promote consumer engagement and loyalty and improve customer satisfaction. This study aims to identify best practices for optimizing online shopping experience. Through user surveys and case studies of leading e-commerce platforms, it provides insights into how companies can implement UCSD strategies to meet consumer expectations. The results show that adopting effective user-centered service design methods can improve customers’ shopping experience, improve the platform’s service system, thereby increasing the platform’s sales and gaining a competitive advantage in the online retail industry. This study contributes to the continued development of the field of e-commerce service design and provides practical suggestions for companies to optimize digital shopping experiences.
