Characteristics and Change Trend of Atmospheric Compound Pollution in Hebei Province
摘要
On the basis of analysis of PM2.5 and O3 (PO) pollution data during the years 2019–2023 in 11 cities in Hebei Province, he features of air compound pollution (CP) in Hebei Province were elucidated. (a) Between 2019 and 2023, Hebei Province has had a notable enhancement in air quality (AQ), evidenced by a rise in the percentage of outstanding days. (b) The PM2.5 concentration (PC) has markedly diminished; however, the concentration of O3 has exhibited an increased trajectory, underscoring the composite pollution of PO. (c) PC is predominantly elevated in the first and the final seasons, while diminished in the other two seasons. The monthly concentration variations have a “V” or “U” shape, with the minimum concentration values occurring in August; O3 concentrations (OC) are decreased in the first season and final season, while elevated in the second season and third season. The monthly concentration variations exhibit a “inverted V” shape, with peak concentration values occurring in June. (d) There are notable geographical disparities in PO; yet, a link exists between PO levels. (e) Temperature serves as a significant aspect influencing PO. The rise in temperature will exacerbate the cumulative pollution. Efforts to avoid and reduce CP should be prioritised throughout the summer months.
