Methodological Approaches Toward a Pan-African Psychology
摘要
Chapter 5 reimagines research as a site of liberation, where method becomes ethical, spiritual, and political praxis. Drawing on Wade Nobles, George J. Sefa Dei, and Paulo Freire, it challenges Eurocentric dominance and advances Indigenous, participatory, and spiritually grounded methodologies. Knowledge production emerges not as extraction but as healing—rooted in community, ancestry, and accountability—positioning Pan-African research as a transformative force for psychological freedom, cultural restoration, and collective self-determination.
