Complex Dizziness
摘要
Complicated presentations of dizziness are diagnostic challenges. A complex symptom profile may result from the interplay of different conditions, an uncommon—sometimes merely under-appreciated—disorder, and presentation of a common condition in a manner that is either atypical or has features overlapping with other disorders. Clinicians must be cognizant of a plethora of comorbidities, exposures, and functional conditions that may cause or contribute to dizziness. In-depth inquiry into the nature of the dizziness, as well as the past medical and family histories, is essential to establishing an accurate diagnosis.
