Engineering: Constructive Characteristics of Installations, Machinery and Tools
摘要
Any livestock farming project must meet the necessary requirements for the type of production it intends to carry out, which will include the necessary measures to preserve the safety of the operators, guarantee animal welfare and prevent environmental pollution. These requirements, both technical and administrative, are regulated by legislation at municipal, regional, national and supranational levels. Their description, with the specific characteristics required for the construction of guinea fowl farms, is included in this chapter dedicated to the farming of guinea fowl. In order to carry out this activity, it is also necessary to draw up a technical project and obtain health authorisation from the autonomous community/region in which it is to be carried out, which requires prior authorisations such as environmental authorisation, urban planning qualification, municipal building permit, municipal activity permit and approval of the operating report and health programme. This chapter also includes the technical characteristics of the project regarding the housing and facilities for breeders, breeding and rearing and general facilities, as well as the necessary conditions to achieve animal welfare, descriptions which are illustrated with photographs, sketches and diagrams.
