In this paper, we study the kinematic behavior of a coupled pendulum system in which two identical pendulums are connected by a massless spring. The Lagrangian formulation is used to derive the equations of motion, assuming small angular displacement. The analytical solution is obtained, and the system's dynamics are subsequently simulated using MATLAB. Simulations include time-domain plots of the angular displacements for various initial conditions, illustrating the energy exchange and synchronization behavior between the pendulums.
