The agile framework is rising in popularity among software development teams. This framework overcomes the problems linked with traditional project management methodologies. It includes more customer involvement and better team collaboration thus positively impacting the quality of the deliverable. Considering the importance of agile in the current era, it is important to make university students aware of the agile framework to increase their potential and employability. Although a lot of studies have been done on including agile in higher education, very less studies focused on the inclusion of agile in university curriculum. To analyze the current levels of awareness and satisfaction with using agile methodologies among university students a research study was carried out. Following a survey-based approach, a questionnaire was distributed among 434 students out of which 273 responses were collected. The results of this study suggest that students are satisfied after using agile methodologies for their team projects. According to the study, Scrum is the most favored agile framework among students. The findings of this research study will also help promote an agile framework in university contexts.
