Virtual Reality (VR) has proven to be an innovative tool that can help perform several aspects of organizational processes. This extensive literature review aims at identifying and discussing existing literature on the use of VR as a tool to enhance the development of employee resilience in organisations. The recruitment and selection process is now trending with the use of technology to offer a better look at tasks and working conditions by using VR. This approach steps up the decision-making process through qualifying the match between the candidates and the job, which ultimately optimizes the ability of recruiting and cuts down the rates of turnover. In talent management, VR entails the creation of replicas of working conditions to enable the employ check on the skills he will use in practice without risking the real condition. Additionally, due to interactive occurrences and behavioural parameters, introduced by VR, the system of performance measurement has been shifted toward the evaluation and admittance of precise real-time performance. Thereby, the current paper advances a methodologically rigorous approach for capturing the effects of VR on employee resilience based on the PLS-SEM analysis to open the avenues of stimulating the innovative strategy in the human resource management. The data was collected from 400 employees working in the manufacturing sector. The results indicated that recruitment & selection, talent management and performance evaluation positively influenced virtual reality which in turn had a favourable impact on employee resilience.

摘要
