Economic and Technical Innovations in the AI Age: Transforming Modern Business Practices
摘要
The legal profession is about to be reshaped with the infusion of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Blockchain in Legal School Curriculum. In the same way, technology is reshaping society in a broader sense so too does it have an impact upon the legal sector. Blockchain, AI & ML emerging technologies secure legal prospects assigning a safe transaction or automated reliable procedures supported by data-driven insights. But making sure legal ed prepares aspiring attorneys for this new complex digital world requires change. AI and ML could disrupt fields from legal research, case analysis to decision-making. Artificial Intelligence (AI) can read through massive volumes of legal data, detect patterns across thousands upon thousands of case files and predict how future cases will likely turn out—quicker than a group of human attorneys could. This enhances law efficiency and at the same time improves objectiveness and correctness of legal judgments. As a result, law schools must teach AI and ML languages so that students can become familiar with the technology in conducting legal research, writing memos or complaints etc. Similarly important will be legal and AI ethics courses to address the problems (such as bias, privacy concerns) that these technologies produce.
