This paper presents the design and development of an online dynamic auction system for the Indian Premier League (IPL). The implementation is accomplished using MySQL and PHP, aimed at optimizing the player bidding process for the 2025 season. This system automates and optimizes the process by incorporating detailed player data, team budgets, and auction rules. The platform features a robust MySQL database that categorizes over 200 players by role and nationality, ensuring accurate bid evaluations based on predefined parameters, including base prices, performance metrics, and team constraints. The PHP-based interface enables real-time updates and secure login features for both administrators and team managers. This developed system not only enhances the efficiency of the IPL auction but also provides a scalable model for similar sports leagues globally, thereby contributing to the field of sports analytics and auction theory.
