Intensive Services and Supported Recovery
摘要
The epidemic of distress and despair can be more fully reversed when all communities have evidence-based practices such as assertive community treatment, high-fidelity wraparound for children, and other intensive home and community-based services. Sustaining recovery and maximum wellness also requires community-based supportive housing, the availability of educational opportunities, supported employment, and social/spiritual inclusion. The aim of the intensive service and supported recovery pathway in Whole Community Mental Health is an enriched community life in which individuals healing from substance use, mental illness, and trauma enjoy the benefits of meaningful relationships and deepening mutuality.
