Cognitive Behavioral Approach for Type A Behavior
摘要
Common cognitive distortions in type A behavior include all-or-nothing thinking, selective attention, personalization, and attribution of causality. Cognitive behavioral therapy can be applied to address key features of the type A behavior, such as time urgency, perfectionism, achievement striving, excessive work involvement, low self-esteem, hostility, and depression. Individualized intervention is essential, as the predominant features of type A behavior vary from person to person.
