Conclusions
摘要
This chapter sums up the major observations of the present study in terms of environmental flow measurement and its characterizations with quantitative and qualitative dimensions. Moreover, the multi-dimensional nature of the dams and development is mentioned in this chapter from an environmental flow restoration perspective. The study has demonstrated that Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) dams play a crucial role in the socio-economic development of the study area. Furthermore, it is also established that dams interrupt the environmental flow for aquatic organisms and human health. Finally, this chapter also sketches the significance in the context of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the limitations of the present work. This calls for the future direction of research.
