I specialize in radiation protection and peace studies. I have been fighting for more than 50 years for a society free of nuclear weapons and nuclear power risks. In this chapter, I describe my experiences in the campaign against nuclear power plants and for the abolition of nuclear weapons, as well as my experience as the general coordinator of the International Network of Museums for Peace. This chapter also describes my efforts to create a peace museum to preserve and put on display the memories of Fukushima nuclear accident. In addition, the chapter, which also discusses the war in Ukraine, suggests as to what should be done to create peace.
