This study addresses the risk assessment process in an entity engaged in the extraction and processing of platy limestone and siliceous sandstone. Based on Law No. 10237, dated 18.02.2010, “On Occupational Safety and Health,” and the respective bylaws, a detailed document has been developed that includes risk identification, their analysis, and preventive measures. The assessment covers technical, organizational, hygienic–sanitary, and psychosocial factors, providing a comprehensive approach. The results show that the main risks are related to the use of heavy machinery, exposure to dust, electric shock hazards, and potential fires. The implementation of preventive measures such as collective and individual protective equipment, signaling and evacuation systems, as well as employee training, constitute the key elements to ensuring occupational safety and health.
