You all know Ikea: the large furniture store with its flat-pack furniture that we assemble ourselves into reasonably priced furniture, and the restaurant with its affordable meatballs. In this chapter, we will discuss how serious problems in the form of crises and scandals can drive change in companies. Ikea is not a particularly crises or scandal-prone company. That makes it a good example.
