The sole objective of Section VI is the procedural treatment of digital assets. Principle 18 declares the application of the ordinary procedural law of each State, including the enforcement of digital assets. Principle 18 identifies three scenarios in which procedural law may be involved: on the one hand, judicial procedures unrelated to enforcement, procedures to comply with a judicial order, and on the other, judicial procedures for the enforcement of judicial assets. The chapter also analyses Principle 1, which exclusively integrates Section VI, Procedural Law, including enforcing the Unidroit Principles on digital assets and private law.
