Clinical Engineering and Healthcare Technology Management
摘要
This section explores the principles, practices, and emerging trends in clinical engineering and healthcare technology management. It begins by introducing the foundations of the field, highlighting the role of clinical engineers in ensuring the safe, effective, and efficient use of medical technologies, and outlining the essential skills and competencies required for technical, regulatory, and interdisciplinary collaboration (Sect. 3.1). Building on this foundation, the section examines medical device management and safety, with a focus on post-market surveillance, regulatory compliance, risk management, and strategies to address deficiencies in device monitoring (Sect. 3.2). It then addresses quality, compliance, and sustainability, emphasizing the use of computerized maintenance management systems, environmentally responsible device management, and strategies to optimize performance while reducing ecological impact (Sect. 3.3). Together, these chapters demonstrate how clinical engineering integrates technical expertise, regulatory knowledge, and management practices to enhance patient safety, healthcare quality, and sustainable technology deployment.
