A comparative analysis of public, human, and citizen security in Ecuador, using documentary mapping, seeks to understand the relationships and differences between these dimensions. Policies and practices to improve the well-being and security of the population are evaluated, identifying strengths, challenges, and opportunities through surveys of a segment of the Sangolquí population, with a population selection based on interest sampling. This methodological approach reveals how government strategies, community participation, and socioeconomic conditions influence security. The objective is to identify the concepts and characteristics of each type of security, given that security is a fundamental concept that encompasses various dimensions essential to the well-being and development of modern societies. Each of these dimensions plays a crucial role in building resilient and just societies, seeking to guarantee not only physical protection but also the comprehensive well-being and active participation of all citizens.

摘要
