Traditional media have been predominant and have had a greater influence on the public. However, in recent years, various alternative media have been created that have a greater acceptance. A content analysis of these media that disseminate political information has been carried out. The following media have been considered: Servendi, Lamula, Wayka, IDL-Reporteros, etc. The results show that they disseminate objective, reliable information based on the categories: actions of authorities, protests, human rights, electoral aspects, environmental problems, aspirations of indigenous communities, etc. It is concluded that these media are accepted for the information on political problems that they disseminate.
