In the post-pandemic era, communal places such as parks have become critical for social interaction and community involvement. This study proposes redesigning the Al Fatih Playground and Culinary Park following the Sustainable Development Goals, with a particular emphasis on establishing sustainable cities and communities. This study employs human-centered design methodologies and the Stanford design thinking approach, including observations and literature studies as primary and secondary data collection methods. These methodologies guide the development of 3D design models, renderings, and animations, subsequently confirmed using expert opinion. The findings show that intentional design adjustments that address existing infrastructure weaknesses improve the park’s effectiveness as a public area, increasing user pleasure and participation. The study demonstrates that prioritizing user requirements and applying systematic design thinking can effectively transform spaces to enhance community engagement and sustainability. In conclusion, the reconstruction of Al Fatih Playground and Culinary Park improves the physical layout and amenities. It contributes to the larger goal of promoting sustainable communities by making community spaces more accessible, pleasurable, and safe for the public.

摘要
