This work presents a mechatronic system for regulating the microclimate in semi-protected crops via automated solar covers. It integrates environmental sensors, robust actuators, control electronics based on the Internet of Things, and a multi-platform interface. The system is a scalable and modular mechatronic solution for regulating microclimates in semi-protected crops. It integrates sensing, real-time control, and wireless communication, and its validated design supports sustainable precision agriculture across diverse contexts.
