A pattern is a three-part rule which describes a problem in a context and describes a solution to that problem. On the other hand, usability maturity models evaluate how usability is planned and implemented in the organization identifying aspects of improvement in this area. Although, usability has been widely studied, its implementation as a core aspect of the organization has not been addressed successfully. This research presents guidelines for a successful integration of usability in organizations based on the use of ten (10) usability patterns applied to the user experience maturity model which defines five maturity levels. The main idea is to guide organizations to achieve the next maturity level to be successful in the usability implementation. Therefore, a set of recommendations are presented, including the patterns to be used, to move the organization to the next maturity level until it reaches the fifth level, and the usability becomes a core aspect for the organization
