Model Based Study on Wireless Power Transfer in Electric Vehicle Charger Using Inductive Coupling and Solar Energy

Wireless power transfer (WPT) combined with renewable energy is transforming EV charging by making it more efficient and less dependent on the grid. By using inductive or resonant coupling, WPT enables wireless energy transfer, eliminating the need for physical connectors and reducing infrastructure costs. Dynamic wireless charging (DWC) further enhances this technology by allowing EVs to charge while in motion, which can lead to smaller battery requirements. AI-driven energy management and IoT-based monitoring help optimize performance and reduce power losses. This paper explores advancements in WPT efficiency, coil design, and scalability to drive the future of solar- powered EV charging.
