Application of 3D Laser Scanning Technology and BIM Technology in Housing Security
摘要
China’s urban construction is advancing rapidly, but some areas are still facing housing safety problems, and the traditional building surveying and mapping methods have disadvantages such as low efficiency, lack of accuracy and cumbersome operation, and new technical means are urgently needed to ensure the safety of residents’ housing and effectively evaluate the quality of housing. In this paper, a 3D laser scanning technique is proposed to collect architectural detail data for 3D visualization of a house in Chongqing as an example. At the same time, combined with BIM technology, as a digital architectural design and management tool, through digital modeling, data standardization and collaborative design, the comprehensive management of the whole life cycle of construction projects is realized, and the two are combined to conduct a comprehensive safety assessment of the house. The results show that the 3D laser scanning technology can efficiently and accurately obtain the surface information of complex buildings, and the generated 3D model can more intuitively evaluate the overall and appearance quality of the building. And through the BIM model, the safety of the internal components of the house can be more comprehensively reflected. The combination of 3D laser scanning and BIM technology has played an important role in urban construction and housing safety, and provides an effective way to ensure the safety of residents’ housing, and this combination of technologies should be promoted and applied in practice.
