Carbon-based nanocompositesNanocomposites have emerged as versatile and promising class of materials for next-generation devices due to their unique optical, electrical, and mechanical properties. This chapter provides a comprehensive overview of the synthesis and integration of carbon-based derivatives tailored for photonic applications. Emphasis is placed on the tunable and optical responses of these materials which make them ideal for optical devices.
