Commonly, in pediatric oncological pharmacies, we pharmacists are responsible for pediatric rheumatology patients due to the chemotherapy treatment that some of these patients receive. In this case, it is important to know about rheumatic diseases and their treatments, either involving chemotherapy or not, to do the best therapy possible for rheumatic patients, as well as our oncohematology patients. Instead of pediatric hematology and oncology, there are not so many protocols and treatment guidelines and standardization in pediatric rheumatology area, and it can be potentially harmful. There is a misconception that pediatric rheumatic diseases are rare, but in fact it represents one of the most common chronic conditions associated with disability [26].
