In the digital space of the educational environment, visual tools aimed at increasing students’ cognitive activity and deeper learning of the material become an integral part of the learning process. This article is devoted to the study of the impact of visualization of educational materials on the processes of learning, assimilation and retention of knowledge. However, it is important to understand that the effectiveness of visualization of learning materials is not predetermined. The paper considers different approaches to the definition of visualization in the educational context and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of using visual learning tools. Special attention is paid to the impact of visualization on cognitive processes, student motivation and the development of critical thinking. The paper presents the results of an empirical study comparing different visualization methods (no visualization, partial visualization, full visualization) and their impact on learning effectiveness. Inappropriate or excessive use of visualization can lead to a decrease in learning outcomes.

摘要
