Current commercial underground parking lots often have some problems such as difficulties in parking and locating vehicles. To improve parking lot management efficiency and facilitate user parking and retrieval, this paper designs an urban smart parking platform based on Internet of Things technology(IoT). The system integrates functions including automated access, parking space detection, reservation, and automated guidance. This paper elaborates on the system architecture design, hardware selection, software development process, and the application of key algorithms, along with the testing and validation of the system. A Wechat Mini Program can be used to realize the interaction between the parking lot system and users.
