Task-Based Language Teaching in Adventure Education
摘要
In addition to critical virtual exchange, Chapter 4 looked at another opportunity for transformative learning: at the intersection of TBLT and adventure education. It was at said intersection where, it was proposed, another area of exception in task-based pedagogy can be identified. The word identified is used in view of the fact that task-based language teaching in adventure education is vastly underexplored. The present chapter aims to fill in the research void, concentrating on the two popular enhancements—technological augmentation and the elements of critical language pedagogy—of adventure education understood, after Ewert and Sibthorp (2014), as challenging experiential learning resulting in transgression, self-discovery and growth.
