Redefining Digital Competence (DC). Innovative Strategies for Technology Integration in the Digital Era
摘要
The definition of Digital Competence (DC) challenges establishing protocols that promote improving these skills. A systematic review of the literature was carried out to understand the scope of this competence today and its impact on human development. The study reveals the complexity of defining DC univocally, so it is preferable to conceive the concept as a set of essential skills in all areas of daily life. To address DC training processes effectively, it is essential to adopt an inclusive approach that considers existing digital divides and promotes equity in access to and use of technology. Collaboration between different actors plays a crucial role in successfully implementing DC training interventions. This joint work makes it possible to guarantee effective and equitable training. There is a need to carry out a similar study in the future that analyses the existing reference frameworks for the evaluation from DC. This would contribute to improving the understanding and practice of DC evaluation, thus promoting its development and improvement in different educational and work contexts.
