The increase in individual renewable energy systems, such as wind and solar, makes solving the Optimal Power Flow problem in distribution networks a priority. The objective is to improve the efficiency of energy exchange and reduce generation costs by activating only the strictly necessary generators. In this paper, a solution based on the Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm is proposed, and its results are compared with those obtained through a Mixed-Integer Nonlinear Programming (MINLP) model.

摘要

The increase in individual renewable energy systems, such as wind and solar, makes solving the Optimal Power Flow problem in distribution networks a priority. The objective is to improve the efficiency of energy exchange and reduce generation costs by activating only the strictly necessary generators. In this paper, a solution based on the Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm is proposed, and its results are compared with those obtained through a Mixed-Integer Nonlinear Programming (MINLP) model.
