Electrification implies structural modifications in manufacturing processes, from the procurement of strategic materials to the final vehicle assembly. The production of batteries, electric motors, and electronic management systems requires a reconfiguration of industrial infrastructure, as well as an adjustment in workforce skills to adapt to new technologies. Additionally, these changes directly affect supplier logistics and job stability in the industry, influencing the reorganization of the production network. This study will analyze the impact of production transformation in the automotive industry through a literature review, sector data analysis, specialized training, and consultations with experts from various universities. Through this approach, key trends and strategies will be identified to ensure a sustainable and equitable transition in EV manufacturing. Special attention will be given to the effects on job creation and loss, the need for new work skills, and the redistribution of production within the supply chain. The goal is to provide valuable insights for decision-making in both the business sector and public policy design to facilitate an orderly transition toward electric mobility.
